Content board

The content board is where every creative lives, from concept to ready-to-push. Each row is one creative with its status, contributors, linked product, funnel stage and ICP.

Views

Switch how the board looks from the view controls:

  • Table for a dense, sortable overview.
  • Board for a kanban, grouped by status, format, concept, landing or funnel stage.
  • Gallery for a visual grid of the assets.
  • Calendar for a month with every creative on the day it is due and the day it is planned to go live. A deadline that passed on work still in production shows red.

Working a creative

  1. Choose New creative. Give it a name and, under Details, its persona, funnel stage, format, concept, landing, products, creators, offer, occasion and cost; add its files under Files. It starts as a concept, and everything can change later.
  2. Edit most cells in place on the table: persona, funnel stage, landing and format from a menu, the concept by typing, contributors and product from their columns.
  3. Move it through the statuses as the work goes: concept, new, in review, approved, running, closed.
  4. Set it to approved when it is ready, and it lands in Launch for your media buyer.
  5. Tick rows to act on several at once. Set changes one thing on all of them: status, persona, funnel stage, format, landing or concept, or adds a label or a creator. Approving them this way tells your media buyer the same way approving one does. Delete asks first, naming how many creatives go, because it is for good: their comments, labels and history go with them. Their files stay in your Google Drive.

A creator's delivery arrives on the board when you approve it under Deliveries and choose Send to the content board: as Ready to launch straight into Launch, or as Needs work on the board. It starts from its brief and from what you answer while approving (persona, funnel stage, format, concept, landing, products, usage rights), with the creator linked and the delivered file under Files. Approved as Keep as content, it stays off the board.

Everything is saved to your workspace. A new workspace starts with an empty board and fills up as you add creatives, ICPs and products.

Winner or loser

Result, under Status on a creative's Details, marks how it did in ads: Winner, Loser or No result, one click and saved at once. It is one or the other, so marking a winner takes the loser mark off. Set on a selection marks many at once, the board shows the mark beside the name, and the library's Winner and Loser folders and the Label filter find them.

Review

Moving a creative to In review tells the team: a notification under the bell, and in Slack when it is connected, with a link straight to the creative. Moving twenty at once from a selection sends one message, 20 creatives are ready for review, and approving works the same way.

A note under Feedback can say which file it is about and where in the video, such as 0:03. The note shows both as a chip; a click opens that file, and starts the video there when Ecomyard plays it itself. A Drive video opens in Drive's own player, which cannot be told where to start.

New version on a file uploads the next cut in its place: it keeps the file's placement and position and counts up, v2, v3. The version badge opens the earlier versions, still there to compare. Launch and the board only ever use the current one, and removing the newest version brings the one before it back.

Dates, rights and variations

A creative's Details carry a deadline and a live date, which the calendar lays out, and a row says Overdue or Due once a deadline is three days out on work still in production.

Usage rights say whether creator content may run as an ad: not needed for your own work, requested, or granted, with the date a licence runs out and whether whitelisting (Spark Ads) is allowed. Launch and the board warn when a creator's creative is approved or running with no rights recorded, rights only requested, or rights that ran out. Filter on Usage rights to find them all.

Make a variation makes a new concept from a creative with the same persona, funnel stage, format, concept, landing, offer, moment, products and script, and no files. It is named after the original with the next number, Sticky note v2, or, when your workspace has a naming convention, by the convention with the next number in its concept and the original's creator on it. Both show the family: the variation says what it came from, and the original lists its variations. Filter on Variation to see only originals or only variations.

Upload in bulk

Upload in bulk, next to New creative, turns a whole batch of files into creatives at once:

  1. Drop up to 50 videos and images, or click to pick them. Each file becomes its own creative, named after the file; change a name on its card before you start. With a naming convention, a name you leave alone is only a label to tell the rows apart: the creative is named by the convention when it is made, and a name you type is kept. Every file shows a preview, whether it is a video or an image, and its placement, read off its pixels. The buttons on the row correct it.
  2. Under Details, set persona, funnel stage, format, concept, landing, products and creators once for the whole batch.
  3. Press Create. Files go to your workspace's Google Drive, three at a time, and each one shows how far it is.

When the whole batch made it, the dialog says how many creatives were made. Show on the board closes it and lights them up at the top of the table; Upload more starts the next batch.

Only a file that arrived becomes a creative, so a failed upload never leaves an empty creative behind: it stays on the list with the reason, ready to try again. Without Google Drive connected nothing is created, and the dialog says so.

Several sizes of one ad

A Feed and a Story of the same ad become one creative. Files named alike apart from a placement word or a size, such as Static Feed 14 and Static Story 14, or Hook 9x16 and Hook 4x5, are matched as they come in, and the creative carries each file with its placement. Split takes a file out into a creative of its own; tick creatives and press Combine into one creative to put them together.

Details per creative

The details you set are kept for your next batch in this browser, apart from the concept, which changes from batch to batch. For one creative that differs, open Details on its card: the persona, funnel stage, format, concept and products you set there are its own, and the card says what differs. Back to the batch details undoes it. Every creative can still change on its own afterwards, on the board.

Already on the board

A file the board already has says so on its row, with the creative it is on: a Drive file by the file itself, an upload by its name. Remove it, or make it anyway.

From Google Drive

Files already in Drive? Select from Google Drive opens Google's own picker page in a window of its own, in My Drive or a shared drive. Allow access for the files you choose, pick as many videos and images as you like, and the window closes with the files on the list. Nothing uploads: each becomes a creative pointing at the file where it is, and Drive tells Ecomyard its placement unless you set one on the row. Files from your computer and from Drive can go in the same batch.

  • Google asks you to allow access every time you pick. That is how it hands over exactly the files you chose and nothing else in your Drive.
  • Pick while signed in to the Google account Drive is connected with. A file picked as another account is one Ecomyard cannot read, and the dialog says how many that was.
  • Google's page works in every browser, whatever it does with third-party cookies. If your browser blocks the window, allow pop-ups for Ecomyard; Cancel in the dialog closes it.

Deleting a creative, or a file on it, never deletes anything in your Drive.

Content hub

The Content sub-page (under Content board in the sidebar) is your content hub: every asset in one Drive-style folder tree — think Recovery Ice Kit / 9x16 or UGC inbox. Navigate with breadcrumbs, switch between grid and list view, and search across all folders at once.

With Google Drive connected, uploads go straight from your browser into your own Drive: Ecomyard creates a workspace folder there (with a folder per hub folder), the bytes never pass through Ecomyard on the way, and the quota stays on your bill. Ecomyard keeps the index, the labels and the history. Without Drive, uploads are stored by Ecomyard and everything works the same; connect later and new uploads switch over.

Every upload asks three quick questions first: which product is in the shot, whether a creator made it, and what it was made for (a campaign, a shoot, outsourced work). Click any file to open the previewer, and open the details panel to see and edit those tags plus the file's history: delivered via the portal, approved on the board, added by hand. Approved portal deliveries file themselves into your UGC inbox folder with the creator already attached.

Use New folder and Upload (pick files, drop them anywhere, or right-click the canvas), filter by type, sort by name or date, and Add link registers assets that live elsewhere. Deletes have a confirm step, and deleting a folder cleans up everything inside.

Tagged on Instagram

Its Creators tab lists everybody who tagged you: photo, name, handle, followers, mentions, last mention and status. Search it, filter on affiliates, contacted or not contacted, sort it, copy an invite or mark somebody contacted, and open anybody's posts from their name. Photos and follower counts come from story mentions: somebody who only tags you in posts shows by their handle.

Tagged content, in the sidebar of both Content and Affiliates, shows all of it as one grid, newest first: every post, reel, carousel and story, with who made it and when. Filter on affiliates or on people who aren't affiliates yet, on the kind of post, and on any period. Open a post and it plays large, with the caption and the creator beside it: followers, how often they mentioned you, and whether they are an affiliate or have been contacted. From there, open it on Instagram or in your Drive, download the file, or copy an invite for somebody who isn't an affiliate yet.

With Instagram connected, the content hub opens with a Tagged on Instagram row: every post and reel that tags your brand or mentions it in the caption, and every story that mentions it, per creator, affiliate or not. The first runs read your whole history, a few hundred posts at a time, and every post's file goes to your Google Drive under Content library / Tagged on Instagram: one folder for all of them, each file named after its creator and the day it went up, like @sanne.dv 2026-09-27 reel.mp4, so the folder sorts by creator by itself. Without Drive connected the posts wait, and are copied once it is. A story that mentions you is copied too, first in line, because Instagram only serves it for a day; it keeps playing in Ecomyard after it ends.

The folder opens on a table of everybody who tagged you, with a date filter that starts on All time:

  • Mentions, with the trend against the period before, and what they were: reels, photos, carousels and stories.
  • Likes, comments and engagement: likes and comments per post as a share of their followers, from the affiliate's own count or from Discover.
  • Last tagged, so a creator who went quiet stays on the list and reads zero rather than disappearing.

Every number opens that creator's posts, filtered to what it counts, and Copy invite sits next to anybody who is not an affiliate yet. A creator's posts show newest first, filtered by type, and each card says where its file is: in your Drive, still being saved, or not saved because Instagram's link ran out first. Open one for the caption, the likes and comments, and links to the post on Instagram and to the file in Drive.

An affiliate's own page has the same numbers in a Tagged on Instagram card: the last 30 days next to all time, each a way into their folder.

Meta does not share views or reach of other people's posts, so the numbers are what anyone can see on the post: likes and comments.

Creative detail

Click a creative in any view and it opens in the middle of the screen, with its name at the top of a rail on the left. The rail has five screens, and each says in a word what it holds, so you can read a creative without opening them all.

  • Details classifies the creative: status, persona, funnel stage, format, concept, landing, products, creators, offer, occasion, labels and cost. They are buttons and search fields rather than dropdowns. A creative can carry several products; the first one leads. Creators come from the people in your workspace, with their photo where one is set. Press Save changes to keep what you changed.
  • Files shows the creative as the Reels ad it will be: your logo as the profile picture, your handle, the lead product in the shop card and the buttons down the right, so you can see what the interface covers. Open in Google Drive takes you to a file that came from there.
  • Script holds the working script (hook, scenes, CTA) and notes for anything the team should know that is not the script.
  • Feedback is the thread with your team about this creative.
  • Activity lists every status change and every file added, with who did it and when, newest first.

Files on a creative

Click to upload or drag files onto the Files screen. Uploads go to your workspace's Google Drive and nowhere else, so size is no limit and Ecomyard keeps no copy; connect Drive first. They land under Creatives, in a folder named after the product the creative sells.

  • Each file carries its placement, read off its pixels, and the chip on the row changes it. Click a file to preview it: a 9:16 as a Reel, a 4:5 or a 1:1 as a feed post.
  • Drag the files into order: the top one is the one the card on the board shows.
  • Add link takes any link. A Google Drive link to a file Ecomyard put there itself gets its name and preview from Drive; a link to anything else, including a file elsewhere in your Drive, is kept as a link and named after its address.
  • Removing a file asks first, and never deletes anything in your Drive.

Each creative also carries a cost, rough on the slider and exact in the field. It counts toward creative spend on your Overview.

Tips

  • Columns can be reordered to match how your team reads the board.
  • Link every creative to a product and an ICP so your analytics and coverage stay meaningful.

Launching with your media buyer

Set a creative to approved and it lands in Launch, and your Slack channel gets a message that names your media buyer with a button straight to it. The Ready to launch card on the board, and Launch on an approved row, go there too.

Launch is the content board pointed at that queue: the same table, board and gallery, preset to everything approved and not yet in Ads Manager. Start launching ads hands the queue over one creative at a time, in the ad editor's order:

  • the campaign and the ad set it goes in. Launched keeps both on the creative, and your answer carries to the next card, since one campaign usually takes a whole batch;
  • the ad name, from your own naming convention;
  • every file at its own placement, with Open in Google Drive or Download under it. A card warns when a placement has no file: no 9:16 means nothing for Stories and Reels, no 4:5 or 1:1 means nothing for Feed;
  • primary text, headline and description, the call to action and the website URL, each with a copy button. Write the copy drafts three sets from the persona's barriers and hooks, and Use this copy keeps the one you pick on the creative;
  • the website URL carries your UTM parameters, filled for this ad.

Launched takes the creative out of the queue and moves it to Running; nothing moves to Running before that. Skip leaves it for later. Choose the media buyer, set your naming convention and your UTM parameters under Settings, General; anyone on the team can launch. Leave the name empty when you make a creative, on the board, in a bulk upload or when you approve a delivery to the board, and the convention names it. A convention such as {product_code}_{format_code}_{concept}_{creator_code}_{seq} writes names like NS_VID_hospital-motocross_job_01: the product's code comes from Products, the format's from Settings, the creator is written as one lowercase word, and the number is the creative's number within its concept, shown and editable on the creative next to Concept. A new creative gets the next free number, and so does a creative you move to another concept, so two ads never share a name. A field with nothing behind it drops out along with one separator.

The queue shows the same size warnings as a chip on each row, and on the board Sizes in the filter finds them, for example Sizes is not Story. The ad copy also sits on the creative's Script screen, under Ad copy, to write or change by hand, and its Details say where it went once it launched.

Ecomyard does not create ads in Meta Ads Manager. Your media buyer builds them from Launch.
