ICPs & coverage
An ICP (ideal customer profile) describes a persona you sell to. Ecomyard uses rich ecommerce personas so your briefs and creatives stay on target.
What an ICP holds
- A profile image and name.
- Linked products.
- Demographics: age range, gender, location, income, life stage.
- Psychographics: goals, pains, barriers, motivations.
- Marketing angles, channels and price sensitivity.
Creating an ICP
- Open ICPs and add a profile.
- Fill in the persona fields and upload an image.
- Link the products this persona buys.
Finding your way through them
The overview has pills with how many personas each holds: All, Researched, Not researched, No products and Archived. Search finds a persona by name, description or market, the market menu narrows to one market or to personas without one, and sort puts the oldest, newest, alphabetical, most creatives or most researched first.
Archive or delete
The menu on a card, or on the persona's own page, archives it or deletes it.
- Archive keeps everything, research and links included, and takes the persona out of the lists new work is assigned from: the board's persona picker, signup pages, a market's personas and search. A creative made for it still says who it was for, and Restore puts it back.
- Delete permanently asks first and says what goes: the research, its sources, hooks, barriers, tasks and the format plan. Creatives, briefs and creators keep their row without a persona, and offers, moments and signup pages stay; only their link to this persona goes.
The ICP subpage
Click any ICP in the sidebar to open its own page with analytics: how many ads were tested against this persona, the success rate, and coverage by funnel stage. Use it to spot personas that are under-served with creative.
